The partnership with Sybase 365 (

Since its inception in October 2006, cellity has been showing above 50 percent average monthly growth, with more than 4.5 million software downloads worldwide, said Sybase 365 in the announcement.
Sybase 365 offers its messaging services to cellity in two major areas: Sybase 365 sends a short message service (SMS) containing a Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) link for the cellity software download to new customers. Also, it sends text messages from existing cellity users to non-cellity users, inviting them to join the service, company officials said.
"Sybase 365's messaging services give us the freedom to actively grow our business," said Sarik Weber, cellity founder and CEO.
"A crucial prerequisite for us when choosing a messaging partner was the ability to guarantee secure and reliable delivery of our mobile traffic. This requirement led us to Sybase 365. Its global operator network, its expansive reach to more than 700 mobile operators, and its high reliability combine to make it an ideal partner for our enterprise," added Weber.
According to Mark Weait, regional director, Northern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Sybase 365, cellity’s remarkable growth is suggestive of the huge potential in the mobile messaging market.
"We are delighted to help enterprises such as cellity to manage their data traffic and further expand their business activities," said Weait.
Sybase 365, a subsidiary of Sybase, offers mobile messaging interoperability services to facilitate delivery of SMS, multimedia messaging service (MMS), and WAP. Sybase 365 uses both Internet Protocol (IP) and Signaling System 7 (SS7) protocol to process more than 5 billion SMS and MMS peer-to-peer P2P messages every month.
