Avistar Announces a New Value Promotion Offering

Avistar Communications has announced a risk free special value promotion offering branded as “1,000 Hours of Value.”

Powered by company’s C3 (News - Alert) Desktop, this offering is targeting businesses that want to experience the full value of desktop videoconferencing before making their purchasing decision.

Company officials said that the program is in direct response to the corporate world's renewed focus on both investing in technologies that provide sound return on investment (ROI) and initiating company policies that reduce costs, improve productivity and decrease carbon footprint to generate revenue.

“We have made the 1,000 Hours of Value program a win-win for both partners and customers alike,” said Darren Innes, general manager for Worldwide Sales at Avistar (News - Alert).

He said that this program was designed specifically to give customers the opportunity to experience the best that desktop videoconferencing has to offer so they can innately feel and know just how essential and valuable it can be to their operations.

Avistar C3 Desktop videoconferencing is a business-class solution. It provides value through presence based “Buddy List” single-click calling; single and multi-party standards-based videoconferencing.

In addition, it also provides value through point-to-point connectivity to the desktop, conference room or on the road; software-based solution that uses company’s existing; and more.

Company officials say the 1,000 Hours of Value program is available through its family of distributors and resellers through September 30, 2009, or while supplies last.

Avistar is a provider of technology that supplies the missing critical element in unified communications (UC). Company’s C3 enables users to gain instant messaging-style ability to initiate video communications and collaborate across and outside the enterprise.

Last month, the company announced that Amba Research, a provider of investment research support services to the global capital markets industry, has selected Avistar C3 Desktop videoconferencing and has joined Avistar’s Securities Community Network.
